Building height (number of floors) and building type serves for estimation of human presence in pilot area.
Functional attributes of buildings are agregated into three categories – administrative, commercial and residential.
Number of floors is the weight for calculating the weighted footprint of buildings.
Estimated human presence (EHP) is defined as the sum of three categories (Järv et al., 2017):
EHP for each building is calculated using the mobile phone data, functional category of building, relative weights (based on functional category) and weighted footprint.
You can use following functions to control above mentioned 3D maps:
Orbiting is done by moving the mouse while pressing the left mouse button.
Zoom in / zoom out is done by moving the mouse to and from oneself while pressing the middle mouse button or by scrolling the mouse wheel.
